Regular GRP Open Mesh Grating
Regular GRP Grating has a Mesh Size (mm) at 38 x 38 or 50 x 50 with grating thicknesses of 15mm, 25mm, 30mm, 38mm and 50mm to choose from.
Micromesh GRP Open Mesh Grating
Micromesh Grating has one quarter of the opening of regular square mesh grating. This prevents objects as small as 12mm from falling through the closed spacing offering a smooth movement for small wheeled trolleys, wheelchairs, livestock etc |

Solid Top GRP Grating
This type of GRP grating is covered with a smooth or anti-slip surface often covered with a laminated panel. Ideal solution for pedestrian bridges, trenches, cable troughs or pipe gullies.
Raised GRP Grated Flooring
Using polypropelyne pedestal system this can be installed in any configuration to allow correct adjustment to the level of the raised grating platform according to the height of the access threshold.
High Strength to Weight Ratio
GRP Grating is manufactured as a composite of continuous fiberglass strands and high quality resin and is constructed for strength, even though it is half the weight of steel grating. GRP Grating allows easier removal and access with no special lifting gear. GRP Grating also meets specified load requirements as for steel and is more resistant to impact (see load deflection chart in technical downloads).

Corrosion and chemical resistant
Corrosion is a major problem for steel grating including stair treads and other surfaces in many different industries such as chemical plants, food and beverage factories, sub-stations, water and waste treatment plants plus many others.
GRP Grating is designed to provide safe, long lasting, economical and worry-free solutions where chemicals and other corrosive materials damage the walking surfaces.
Pultruded GRP Grating
This type of grating offers a higher load capacity than moulded fibreglass grating. A wide range of bearing bar shapes, bars and cross bar spacing is available depending on the design requirements. Contact us for further information. |

Fire retardant
Type O - Othophthalic Polyester, Type I - Isophthalic Polyester and Type V - Vinylester GRP Gratings have a fire retardant flame spread rating ASTM-E84 Class 1, 25 or less.
Type HV - High Flame Resistant Vinylester with flame spread rating ASTM E84 Class 1, 10 or less.
Type P - Phenolic Maximum Fire Resistancy with low smoke and fume emissions with flame spread rating ASTM E84 Class 1, 5 or less. (see Technical Downloads)
Slip resistant
GRP Grating has a concave top surface for slip resistance after it is extracted from the mould. Where an antislip surface is specified, the grit would either be bonded to the top of the grating as a secondary operation or embedded to the top before heating. Diamond cover top or gritted cover top are also available. |

Resin strand
Moulded GRP Grating is made of continuous fibreglass fully soaked by unsaturated polyester resin with continuous solidification through mould system, whose uniform structure provides perfect mechanical properties in bi-direction.
